Activity No.78 : Inauguration of Pakistan Permanent Trade Pavilion at Nanning

On the sidelines of 18th Caexpo, Ambassador of Pakistan to China Mr. Moin ul Haque inaugurated Pakistan’s permanent trade pavilion in Nanning city of South China Guangxi province. The inaugural ceremony was attended by senior officials of Nanning Municipal Government, Caexpo Secretariat and functionaries of Guangxi Commerce and Investment Departments.

This is Pakistan’s first permanent trade pavilion in South China, which has been set up in Nanning Free Trade Zone with the assistance of Nanning Government and Caexpo Secretariat. Located in a busy commercial quarter, the pavilion would display Pakistan’s leading export items for the benefit of traders from Nanning and other cities of Guangxi province. The Pavilion would be further linked to E-Commerce platforms for the benefit of businessmen from other parts of China.

The opening of trade pavilion in Nanning is part of the activities planned by the Embassy to celebrate 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China. A number of such pavilions have been recently set up in different parts of China, mainly in the commercial hubs of Shanghai, Chengdu and South China regions.
