The Embassy of Pakistan launched today a new website named www.ironbrothers.pk in a simple ceremony at the Embassy in Beijing.
The new website is solely dedicated to the coverage of all events being organised in Pakistan and China to commemorate the 70th anniversary of establishment of Pakistan-China diplomatic ties. It consists of separate sections for press releases, photo gallery, short videos, and important statements.
During his remarks at the launching ceremony, Ambassador of Pakistan, Mr. Moin ul Haque said that 70th anniversary celebrations are a milestone in the history of Pakistan-China ties and are being celebrated with traditional warmth in both countries. He underscored that the celebrations would play a significant role in bequeathing finest traditions of bilateral friendship to the younger generations of two countries.
The Ambassador added that the new website would not only cover all celebratory events throughout 2021 but would also serve as an important historical record for future reference.
Pakistan and China enjoy close and friendly relations since the establishment of diplomatic relations in May 1951. Pakistan was one of the first countries that recognized the People’s Republic of China. Over the years, the relationship has blossomed into an “all weather strategic cooperative partnership”. Pakistan considers China as one of its closest friend and partner and China considers Pakistan as its “Iron Brother”.
