On the occasion of 70th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China, two special supplements were published in “China Daily” and “International Business Daily”. The supplements carried messages of President of Pakistan and Ambassador of Pakistan to China congratulating the leadership and people of China on completion of 70 years of strong friendship and brotherhood. The supplement also highlighted the CPEC projects cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, education, science and technology.
Pakistan and China enjoy close and friendly relations since the establishment of diplomatic relations in May 1951. Pakistan was one of the first countries that recognized the People’s Republic of China. Over the years, the relationship has blossomed into an “all weather strategic cooperative partnership”. Pakistan considers China as one of its closest friend and partner and China considers Pakistan as its “Iron Brother”.
