Activity No. 101 : Chinese Students Participate in Cultural Exchange Programme at Embassy of Pakistan

As part of the 70th anniversary celebrations of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China, Embassy of Pakistan and Beijing Chengyouxuan Cultural Communication Center jointly organised a cultural exchanged program, held at the Embassy today. Students from different Chinese schools in Beijing and Pakistan Embassy College Beijing participated in the event.

Head of Chancery, Counsellor Naeem Iqbal welcomed the students at the Embassy. Speaking at the occasion, he highlighted different aspects of the unique and deep-rooted friendship between Pakistan and China and expressed hope that children of both countries would play their role in further strengthening of this iron-brotherhood.

All participants shared their views on Pakistan - China friendship. Children enjoyed Pakistani and Chinese cultural songs sung by  Pakistani students. The children took a brief tour of the Embassy and keenly observed the pictures of historic high-level visits between the two countries. The participants were awarded certificates and trophies.

Pakistan and China enjoy close and friendly relations since the establishment of diplomatic relations in May 1951. Pakistan was one of the first countries that recognized the People’s Republic of China. Over the years, the relationship has blossomed into an “all weather strategic cooperative partnership”.
