This year marks the 70th anniversary of establishment of Pakistan-China diplomatic ties, which started on 21 May 1951. The Embassy of Pakistan in coordination with Henan Foreign Affairs Office organized a thematic light show today, 23 May 2021 to cherish All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership between Pakistan and China. The friendship slogans and the logo of 70th anniversary were displayed on the Zhengzhou Olympic Sports Centre, a landmark building in Zhengzhou City.
The Henan Foreign Affairs Office and members of Pakistani community witnessed the light show.
Pakistan and China enjoy close and friendly relations since the establishment of diplomatic relations in May 1951. Pakistan was one of the first countries that recognized the People’s Republic of China. Over the years, the relationship has blossomed into an “all weather strategic cooperative partnership”. Pakistan considers China as one of its closest friend and partner and China considers Pakistan as its “Iron Brother”.
