FOCF organises events to celebrate 70th anniversary of Pakistan-China diplomatic ties


The Friends of China Forum (FOCF) held a series of events here in addition to the ongoing celebrations of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China.
 
The Chinese delegations headed by Li bijian, Chinese Consul General in Karachi, included Zhong Baozhong, Chairman of China Overseas Ports Holding Company (COPHC) and He Xuping Chairman of MCC MRDL LTD. 
 
The events started from a seminar organized by FOCF in Governor house under the title “EMERGING GWADAR” in which the Chinese side and Pakistani speakers endorsed the importance of Gwadar in CPEC & encouraged the stake holders to invest in the future of Pakistan by investing in Gwadar.
 
A round table on investment opportunities & development in Gwadar drew commerce representatives, members of the Quetta industries association and individual potential businessmen of Balochistan. They assured their full interest in availing the future opportunities in Gwadar. 

In the end of the activities, the high level Chinese delegation had another celebration of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan and commemorated the role and importance of tribal and political elders and leaders of Balochistan.
 
FOCF will further work to strengthen the China-Pak cooperation and all -weather friendship, said an official statement.
